Anti Aliasing Supported?

Post by Mackinstyle »

I've found that Anti Aliasing is not an option in the hardware test. Turning it on from outside of the game results in everything being black, save for the one torch. Is this normal? If so, are there any workarounds to including AA? If not, I'd be happy to include more details and help figure out why it's bugging out.

Thanks!

Anti-aliasing is not currently supported with the was things are rendered. I'm sure someone will come up with a quick hack in no time though. I'm wondering if that FXAA dll hack someone created would work. Only one way to find out.

Just think, without it, its darker and edgier.

Sorry, couldn't resist. :P

Haha you just couldn't resist. I chortled a bit.

At least we're in the era of 1920x1200 being standard. Jaggies aren't really pronounced on anything but small geometry like spider legs and tendrils.

Unfortunately, that's not my standard, but 1440x900 isn't too bad.

Can you link to the version you are using. The one I found doesn't seem to be working on the HW test.
