I know it's no longer a "killer rig" but it works well and it's quiet, so I don't really need to upgrade it.
Thank you.

Antti, was with the recent 1.3.7 update the 2.1 opengl requirement not dropped for the low spec mode?antti wrote:Unfortunately your specs seem to be well below the minimum requirements so the game probably won't work on your computer. The graphics card needs to support OpenGL 2.1 or newer so the odds are that the game wouldn't even start.
The 2.1 OpenGL requirement was only dropped from the Windows version which now uses DirectX for both rendering modes. OpenGL 2.1 is still required for Mac and Linux.badhabit wrote:Antti, was with the recent 1.3.7 update the 2.1 opengl requirement not dropped for the low spec mode?antti wrote:Unfortunately your specs seem to be well below the minimum requirements so the game probably won't work on your computer. well, if wikipedia is right the unichrome is a S3 ProSavage 4 which is a design from before 2000... unlikely to work or provide the power :/
there is some old tech demo you could test: http://www.atomicgamer.com/files/95753/ ... est-v1-0-4
Overall, I'm curious what is the oldest card Grimrock will run on, so report please back
Does it mean the game would run on Pixel Shader 2.0 now?antti wrote: The 2.1 OpenGL requirement was only dropped from the Windows version which now uses DirectX for both rendering modes. OpenGL 2.1 is still required for Mac and Linux.
