Alot of people have this bug, that on startup, the game crashes.
I didn't have this on startup, but when i changed my graphics it happened. Obviously because of a bad resolution but
i don't get any crash logs.
I use Steam to play Grimrock, and i tried looking in the grimrock.dat , but Notepad simply crashes and Notepad++ says it's to large.
Any possible help about that?

Re: Wrong resolution? [Steam]
None of the configuration data is located inside the Steam directories.
Grimrock.dat "only" contains the main dungeon's data, that's why it's so large.
LoG's config is stored in "grimrock.cfg", located inside the "Almost Human" folder under "My Dokuments".

Re: Wrong resolution? [Steam]
Sometimes if Steam was downloading an update for a different game I've had trouble getting Grimrock to launch. IIRC it just shows a black screen, possibly with a gear icon, and then nothing more happens. I've been able to solve it by just waiting for those updates to finish. Not sure if that tactic is at all applicable here.
Re: Wrong resolution? [Steam]
When steam is downloading an update for the Grimrock workshop, the game will not load until the update finishes.
