You need to get to the other side of the gate to do that.

I am totally lost. Are you referring to

a face at the end of a corridor in the lvl2 "mosaic", near a secret after putting something into an alcove? If so, I have already tried clicking behind its left eye but nothing happens. Also I can see no way to proceeding there if I pull the wood lever again. The way just closes.

The left eye is on ur right... u should see a wall opening on ur right...
Dnt know if it is that simple the answer....

For sure once u use the key u found on ogre, u must pull back the lever

The question is WHERE, not HOW I found the other one in an alcove in the SW of level 4, after solving the open the iron door/lure the crab on a pressure plate/wait on the right spot for the right beam that closes the pit problem.

About second gem, if I am not wrong, on the same level where you got the demon head where u put the gem, it is there.
You will find it once you cross the 4*4 pits opening/closing puzzle.

You can access this area of the level from the area where u need to solve the 5 levers puzzles /teleporting to different places...

How/Where to get on the other side: you can't do it on this level. Thinking 3D helps

Well I reached the apex but I am not playing anymore. That part is simply insane. When you die about 100 times, difficult becomes unpleasant.

On one of many tries I managed to put all 4 keys and get the treasure just to die afterwards

. I give up.

Besides my mage was some sort of fire specialist which sucks for the end part.

U need to escape this place thats "all"... it is tough but u almost made it... DONT GIVE UP NOW!!!!!

One trick if u have enough health is to jump below once u got treasure. there, rush in teleporter which brings u up ur back to the exit => moving backward twice and u win...

No ur mage is key because u can cast fire shield. Mine was air magic and I finish it ... My daughter finishes it with fire magic guy...
