Dungeon textures?

Post by Keyz »

I have to say the quaility of dungeons textures are awensome, but why they have same texures? Stone and Grass.

I guess that lower levels of dungeons should look like differently than upper levels.
Monsters should have effects on how dungeons look like too.In spider's lair I expected dark place with spider's silk. In snail's lair I expected some slime, and in bat's lair I expected excrements like in real bat' lair.
Orge have big weapon and he should be in lair where are some crashed walls.I guess he is not happy ( he is locked in dungeon) so he have to something :)
Fire elemental should be in lair without vegetation, because fire and grass can not be together.

-I know this is not important right now, but it would better with some improvement like i have written above.
Maybe in Grimrock 2, if Grimrock will be success. :)

On video reviews it could be true - but I saw screenshots with other textures on walls so probably reviewers haven't reached that deep. :P

Only the first 2 or so floors look alike, they get different farther down.

Especially without any proper restroom facilities anywhere.

it would smell very earthy, musty like grandma's attic and odd smells from those beaties. I mean, walking mushrooms and stuff? any other vegitables moving around down there? It might smell like a pizza place after some fireballs get thrown! ;)
I'd take one of the four wooden clubs I was carrying and just bash open doors with it.
- if life were like Dungeon Master

I'd click FIREBALL much more on New Year's Eve
- if life were like Eye of the Beholder

I don't know about you, but I don't think I'd be comfortable "using" one of those things.
