I'm on level 3, the puzzles are incredibly ingenious (amongst the best anyone has done so far) and more difficult than base game. The pitfall puzzle was terrific.

The rock textures are 100% pro, the pressure plates, walls, awesome. The alcove design is #$^@ perfect. Looking up from the bottom of the large pits is so cool.

Base game had toggle secret doors and one-time variety, I think both are good in different situations. You have the sound to tell you if a door has opened or not, so pay attention!

Love the Gladius! Beyond the new tileset, this is very well made & it's clear that much thought has gone into every bit of the game!
(can't wait to "mine" this for assets  )

Thanks, glad you like it!

Uploaded the source files, download is under optional files on the same Nexus page as the mod.

While cleaning the copy of my mod_assets folder from all the leftovers (psd files mainly, but also ase files, backups, test assets etc) I noticed that only 145mb were left - less than the packed mod currently has. It seems like the dungeon editor throws everything from the mod_assets folder into the dat file and not just the defined assets. I already wondered why the mod was so huge for just a single tileset. That explains it. I will upload a smaller version tomorrow, I assume the download should shrink from 215mb to 60mb then, because that is what my 7zipped source archive has. Will have to playtest it though (for the fifth time now...hrmph) to make sure everything still works like it should.

It's not a problem when playing so no worries if you already downloaded, just an annoyingly large download that takes more hd space than necessary (and possibly even reduces performance slightly). Sorry for that!

Ok, clear! Registered, downloaded and playing. The tileset is great, awesome. Have to get used to the secret buttons though ;) Loved the 'push plates and run through 3 doors routine'.
I'm stuck in the start of Level 2 now, with 3 plates and a teleporter I can't reach. No food, no way back to get it. Starving....

Looking at the screenshot I see you used large chasms which is what I have been trying out lately. Of course you solved the seam problem by making a entirely new tileset model! I can only hope one day to possess such power. :D As of now I have no idea what I'm doing.

This looks great I'm downloading now.

stuck at serve dinner -

I can't remember the contents of the bag (I think tar bead, bread, throwing knife, maybe a grim cap, or something else), tried placing pretty much everything I own on the table, no luck. Tried other table in room with two, no luck

My want to play is battling fiercely with my lack of time. All I can say is, Thank you Very much, Phitt.
Thank you so very very much.

I don't want to make promises, but expect me to find places to set alcoves in your mod. :3

I'm in the same boat as you. I think I unwittingly ate the food in the sack.

Just add food at the table.
Starved, right? Join me at the start of level 2, where you starve because you are without a mouthful :(

You have to:

Place a number of food items on the table, 3+ or so, there's also a hidden switch in the floor nearby (it goes click when you step on it) not sure if that's part of it but I had a rock on it also.
