You got me there, Dandy ;)

I guess it's part of my destiny to be lead here, sooner or later :D

I've been waiting for this game for a decade. I hit upon the first rumours about Escape from Dragon Mountain about 10 or 11 years ago (if I remember correctly).
Then -some years later - being under the impression the project had been put on ice or cancelled, I stopped searching for another suitable Dungeon Master clone.
Finally, a week before release, I bumped into Legend of Grimrock...

NOW IMAGINE THE ODDS OF THAT

So...you guys seem to be able to change the path of my destiny. That makes you either demi-gods or angels. Demons don't have that much power. But I'm gonna skim one or two episodes of Supernatural just to make sure

Thanks for the welcome. I'm desperately trying to finish Psychonauts before Grimrock is released, because after that I won't be playing anything else for a while, and I'm sure to get stuck on the puzzles a lot, making my first playthrough a long one.

Been looking through the pre-order goodies, and been wondering just who is Toorum?

My guess: He is some kind of a John Galt of Grimrock, recruiting only the finest, most skillful of prisoners who survive the dungeon to his hidden town at the lowest level of Mount Grimrock, building a mighty army to take over the world! This is the real reason why no-one has come out of the dungeon, and this will be the main plot point of the sequel. No...? Oh well, I'm sure the real answer makes more sense.

Maybe he's
SpoilerShow
that soldier dude who was separated from the rest of the party, the one from the beginning of the manual?

Dude you don't need permission to post links to legally free material. ;)

Hi schiz0phren1c,

welcome on board.

Just tried the demo link, but the server seems to be having some bandwidth issues atm.
But I bet it's the same file I downloaded around 2004, so it doesn't really matter :D
