GAME WONT START STEAM**HELP**

Greetings,
I recently bought Legend of Grimrock through steam. I'm able to download the game but when i want to start playing i press the play button and nothing happens. My computer and specifications are not my concern because i can play games such as Arkam city and crysis on it. So it must be a corrupted file or something of that sort. Please help due to the fact that this is extremely frustrating . I have re installed twice but it still dosent work. Is it that the game is broken?? I also have windows 8.

try updating directX by using the installer in the steam apps game's folder. some people have reported that this isn't happening automatically in win8.

if you don't know how to do this in steam, read on...

right click on "Legend of Grimrock" in your steam games library, select properties, click the "Local Files" tab, click the "Browse Local Files" button, go into the directX folder, launch DXSETUP.
