Yes, they spawn indefinitely from the servants' quarters to the north of the map, you should not dawdle too long in the corridors. ;)

1st run Custom party Hard difficulty
11:32 hours playtime
38/44 secrets

Ok now that we got "teh epeen" outta the way :P this is some professional dungeon crawling material man they should give u a job or something :mrgreen: i mean slap some custom cutscenes here and there ... correct some typos ( only a few to begin with ) and i bet 8 out of 10 ppl wouldn't know the difference between official and mod if they weren't aware this is a custom dungeon.
Solid atmosphere, great level design ( lvl 6 comes to mind ) , puzzles just the right amount of difficulty ... absolutely loved it :)

Overall balance just about right also food , pots , everything ... can be a little irritating @ some points on Hard even with a high lvl party when there's no room to kite but that kinda makes it even more enjoyable when u do overcome it :)

Massive respect man !!! Looking forward to your future stuff if u plan on making any :)

made a tour around the 6th floor after killing these bastards skeletons, got back to the 3rd floor and opened a room with one more bastard and another one (sniper) and got the treasure. Could figure what to do to open the wounded sanctuary, but can't reach the other one (don't remember the name) and all I´ve got are the stairs back to previous floor (5th) Need another clue...
@vismut: yeah, thanks dude, Adrageron Pm' me about the right answer. It was not that hard, the word "killing" in the puzzle hint, confused me, mades me think about many things but nothing that simple :)

Did you find the 10 secrets before going down to Level 2? Just wondering.

I'm now stuck at Level 1 forever, trying to find all 10 secrets.

Either the secret is well hidden with no clue, or it is somehow targeted to a blind spot of mine... Nevertheless, I haven't given up yet.

41/44 secrets found. 16 hours. Hard difficulty. Level 15 on front row, level 14 on back.
Hint to new players: Don't leave Grimrock on in the background while doing other things, cause starving can be a real problem here. (I made the mistake of letting them just stand around while I ate)

Last fight wasn't fun on hard at all, had to just give all shock resistance and dex gear to a single character and run around with him, everyone else died immediately. Never managed to enter the slime room (alchemy lab) since they respawned too quickly. I guess that is one of the three secrets I missed. I starved a lot during the game. Had to eat my last few mushrooms, still everyone starved at the end. Not enough food if you are thorough or play around a lot with alchemy or gear. Oh, I almost killed the cube, but it turns out you can't tele-frag them! :D (I lured it to the spot where the teleporter teleports you to, and jumed on it, but it still crushed me even though I landed on it)
Other than that, brilliant.

This secret have a clue, and if you just trying to find some hidden button/etc, you will never discover it.
BTW, first MOD screenshot demonstrates this secret's guts ;)

You can leave Grimrock in a screen menu mode, it pauses the game.

OMG! It was so obvious with a hard (and direct) clue and just where I suspected. I cannot believe myself. I guess that happens sometimes... Thanks.

I can proceed to Level 2 now.
