This is getting ridiculous. : D

I've made a lot of progress, so that is not the source of ridicule, but how the obstacles keep piling up.

Yesterday, something went wrong with my computer. It was completely clogged for about two hours, until it suddenly started working again. I ran virus protection and spyware program immediately, of course, so the threat should be over. It's just funny how every time I start to work on this something appears out of nowhere, like the heavens themselves were against me.

Well they can very well be, nothing can stop me from finishing this.

But as said, progress is swift, and I've not run into any problems today. (...yet : D)

That which does not kill us, my friend! :)

To keep us from getting muddled, I've started a new discussion thread for Round Two, and collated all of our ideas (thus far) into one post. Please move any further discussion and/or suggestions about round two to this thread.

Reporting something minor, but spoilertags because it is meant for people who've been working on the map:
SpoilerShow
if you still have your versions, can you check them? In the editor, while testing the map, I sometimes get a very weird noise when I start the dungeon up. It might be related to the teleporter I added to teleport straight to my room to test it, but I am not sure. The sound is a bit like very bad radio morse signal, a sort of beeping. It might be some sound effect someone is using and is misfiring for some reason, so I hope I'm not spoiling something.

I was just wondering if I managed to screw something up (I've only added the teleporter and my physical room) I've also not touched anything else as far as I know.

So if you can, test the dungeon a few times in the editor if you have it. If I have to revert to a working version I'd prefer I'd have to redo as little as possible. : S

EDIT: Also can't seem to replicate it now... Weird.

I'm not able to replicate it either. I've tried in the editor and exporting the file. Does anything else seem affected?

Ok, thanks. It might be something soundcard related, I'm half expecting something to blow on this computer although it's only a year old.

Since I can't get it to happen and you can't, I suppose it must've been some freak co-occurrence of some program with the editor that caused the teleporter sound to garble.

EDIT: Alright, caught that bastard on tape. Thankfully I still had the trial version of fraps on my computer. It must be something I did that caused this if no-one else is getting it, which makes me nervous. I'll try removing the teleporter or making it silent to see if it has any effect. I'll also see about uploading the video so you can be as horrified as I am. : P´

All the while, my room is progressing steadily.

If there's one thing I've learned this weekend, my friend, it is this: Never assume anything.

Heads up in advance: my part will be finally finished tonight! (that is, if nothing really catastrophic happens, and even that has to be in biblical proportions.)

I'm still getting the weird sound glitch, but it is very rare. I need to see if it persists on a published version.

Hmm...I haven't tried replicating it since the other day. I'm confident that if you can't resolve it alone, we'll figure it out when we begin testing.
