Well, check the situation week after the release. I foresee four possible scenarios:

1. Site goes away. AH goes bankrupt. Meaning: sales did not go well.
2. Nothing special. Developers keep posting updates about how the map editor is doing. Meaning: sales ok.
3. AH posts that they're hiring. Meaning: sales went great.
4. AH posts about this corporate takeover they're doing. Meaning: sales were amazing.

See? They don't even need to post any information about sales.. =)

Or....

5. Sales go so extremely well that the team's boost in confidence leads to the revival of Text Adventures. :)

I would suspect that 5 would look more like:
Team leaves Finland and lives the rest of their lives in a tropical paradise, never again bothered by cold weather or work.

Why isn't Notch living on a tropical island?

I prefer the cold. I'm trying to convince my husband to let us move somewhere cold but he won't :(

If Finns hated cold weather, we'd all be living on tropical islands by now. :D

I'm from Sweden, and most Swedes hate the weather here, and often state that that they want to move away from Sweden to get away from the cold. Only one person I know has actually left (and it was not for a tropical island, but southern California is still hotter than Sweden).

It is my firm belief that Notch is insane. Insane in a good way, but still insane. But you might be right, considering how productive they have been with Grimrock, I would be surprised if they would not bring their computers and create more games wherever they decide to live.

OR

1. Site goes away. AH vanishes. Meaning: sales did so extremely well that every team member went for vacations till the end of their life.

He really does not strike me as the type of person who would be content with a permanent "vacation", but rather as one with a mind that requires constant work. I know the type (I am one of those), those kinds of people are never happy unless they are allowed to do some creative/intellectually stimulating work.
