Confirmed. Problem solved, and my little slugs are now happily dodging rocks.wallasaurus wrote:Updated to fix wrongly scaled bounding boxes:

Thanks, wallasaurus, for providing such a speedy fix. If anyone is using the old version, you WILL want to upgrade to the new slugs. Trust me.
Re: monsters
Hey, you should download links on the first post of this thread for the creatures you've finished.

Re: monsters
will do, slug is WIP still though. Been a bit busy lately. The weekend beckons! I should be able to finish the slug + a couple of variants of it and the leech/worm ala EOTB.
yay

Re: monsters
Awesome work wallasaurus! Why not put a dungeon 'pack' together and sell it? A collection of props, items, monsters, weapons, etc, earn a few bob for your hard work?
Just a quick question being a 'newbie', where do you put the downloaded files?

Re: monsters
Because selling things related to the editor is illegal.
EDIT: I'm pretty sure offering a spot to be donated to is okay though.

I'm not sure I'm with you here, can you not create your own assets and sell them if you wish?Because selling things related to the editor is illegal.

Re: monsters
I'm fairly certain it's forbidden.
Lemme just check the ToS.
EDIT: "You cannot charge money for your mod. Using voluntary donations or advertisements in moderation are acceptable on the websites used for distributing the mod but not within the mod itself."
And there it is.

Re: monsters
That's most odd, so I couldn't, say, create a sound / music pack to be used in LOG and sell it?
"Hey look! A dungeons and Dragons ride...!"
Re: monsters
You can sell music sure. But that has uses other than Grimrock modding, and thus would be sold for that. You would not be able to sell an example.lua file of how to use it in the editor.
You would not be able to sell models for grimrock in the .model format. There are plenty of places you could sell regular models elsewhere, though it is doubtful anyone would want to buy things for use in the free Grimrock Editor for two reasons.
1, it was a free update.
2, The community is largely behind the open-source style frame of mind.
