Actually you can get quite alot of Information about Charakter genertion when u pause the vids whioch are already out at the right seconds and read the box.

Every race has a certain advantages and disadvantages..hmm i dont wanna spoil so i wont tell anything, but if you really want, you could make up your party already.

Still somewhat torn about making a rogue or not. I will definitely have 2 fighters and a wizard but the question is who will be the 4th character. I'm highly considering making a rogue who dabbles in say life magic.

Will mages be able to "specialize" in a certain type of magic "school"?

Seems like theres ice fire earch and air specializations for the magic folk. I'm curious about life and death specializations.

A Tank, a DPS, a Ranged fighter and a healer. Ranged can be a magic caster or a rogue type. In general terms, this is how I always form my parties, and it depends on what is available in the game.

This is my first post and english isn't my mother tongue. So I'm sorry for my bad old farmer grammar =)
What do the people mean by tank and DPS as roles in a party? I don't understand, it's not a MMO. Is there any aggro system in this game? I don't think so. Will the enemies attack randomly my guys ? or one with the most health? or one who makes the most damages?

I think i am gonna take one warrior and one rogue (with a lot of dodge skills) at the first row and a second rogue with spare/bow + a caster at the second one.

In all case, I can't wait for this awesome release! Thx for resurrecting this good old RPG style!

Some people might just be getting a bit ahead of themselves.
The three classes are Warrior/Fighter, Mage, and Rogue.

4 Mages each specialising in a different type of magic, probably all Insectoid.

Frontline

Torono : Minotaur Fighter, unsure whether to go sword and board or two handed.
Behliet : Lizardman Rouge, dual daggers, dodgy, assassination

Rear

Cypra : Human Mage, unsure which to specialize in.
Srosse : Lizardman Rouge, missile weapons

Highly probable I'd change the names but these classes and races are solid. Even after pre-ordering, I am very unsure about this game because although I am big fan of RPGS (Torment, BG2, etc), the archaic gameplay makes me hesitant. I only played games like this when I was a little lad and too dumb to get very far. After Total Biscuit's WTF, I've decided to risk my measly eleven dollars and my first playthrough in multiple ways. For instance making humans the minority, having one fighter instead of two and playing on the hard difficulty with automapping. Though one thing I am liking is that it leaves much to the imagination, I am mentally debating about writing fanfiction about my characters but we shall see when the game is out.

I'd encourage anyone with a talent for writing to do this and post it on the forums. Would love to read that kind of stuff. I'd do it myself but my talents lie elsewhere.

i'm already trying to think of a back story for my characters. like what they did to be arrested and why they were picked as the strongest to be thrown in the gaping maw
