Of my own?
I think it would have to be the Ice Slime (so little work needed to make it look awesome!)
The water slime with the vapour effect on it and the blue glow is really cool (and is my desktop background haha)
I really like the sludge I made, too.

Apart from my own, Molt is a super awesome slime.

I had this crazy thought about taking pieces from the concept art and turning them into a slime texture. I'm doing the lava bridge right now, I'll let you know if it's as cool as I think it'll be.

Could tie this to an invisible pressure plate, and when the monster leaves, the floor skeleton is destroy()ed :o
or leave a floor corpse and a pair of boots.

This is very cool. I thought I understood how to make my own custom monsters it seems it is more difficult than I thought.

I can edit the monsters.lua no problem. But how do I put a custom texture on it like he did. I already browsed and found the .dds files for the textures for monsters from the asset pack. And I have edited them too for my own custom monsters. But I honestly do not see a direct connection between the .DDS files and monsters.lua. Also the monster's script refers to .fbx file but none are present in the assets given. They are all in .model format.

If I have to edit the .model file, please tell me how. I am a 3d modeler and nothing I have can open it. not even notepad.

PS I am not a programmer.

Editing is limited at the moment; but improving quickly.

There are two ways to edit the monster's material:
First, you can redefine the material (Usually you just make a new material with the same name as the monster).

Secondly (and more fun too), you can edit model to replace the assigned materials [in the model] with custom ones.
Use the GMT found in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3325

Edit the Material.lua to add a new custom material; [Diffuse, Normal, Specular]. Use the GMT to load the model, and edit the name of the material that the model lists ~replace it with the name of your custom material. save the model and define a new monster for your dungeon; add the new monster as usual. Now you have both. 8-)

Also, don't mind all the confusing numeric values. Once you've got the material set up for the monster, tweaking it is a piece of cake.

So if I understand correctly, as long as the material's name is the same as the new monster's name it will automatically pick it up. Is that correct?
