Hey!
Good on ya, for what appears to be an excellent RPG title.
Is there any chance after the initial release next week, perhaps in a forthcoming patch or expansion, the designers could add traditional fantasy races... dwarves, elves, even a fey creature? (OK, we don't need a fey creature, but definitely dwarves and elves.)
Again, good luck with the upcoming release. This adventure looks quite special. I hope you guys make lots of money.
Harumph!
Question, Request, or possible Suggestion?

Sorry, no elves in Grimrock. And probably no dwarfs either.

But Juho, dwarves are the single most coolest and manliest race of them all. They drink, they fight and they mine the mines. They're the perfect race, so I mean, of course they will appear in Grimrock 2, right?
Oh, added elves to the FAQ, seen this being asked couple of times now.

You talking smack about Dwarves? What are ya, some kind of elf lover?
Re: Question, Request, or possible Suggestion?
it does not have to be elves, nor dwarves, in fact I kind of like the idea of minotaurs, and insectoids you never see them in games...but I really would like to see more races, and classes in an expansion, sequel or other style of game you might make in the universe.
I really do like have the more unique races though, and I plan on going in a party without a human the first time through, as long as the other races make good rogues and mages that is.

Gotta dungeon crawl before you can dungeon walk...
Re: Question, Request, or possible Suggestion?
I think it's insectoids are good mages and lizardmen are good rogues. Not sure though

Thanks. OK, that's too bad. Again, I sincerely wish you the best of luck with your sales. You've got a great concept here.juho wrote:Sorry, no elves in Grimrock. And probably no dwarfs either.
Hopefully you will remember your roots before the end.
