I think I talked about using a custom particle effect to make bubbles inside a slime (or outside -- soap?), but never got around to it. Naturally, it would not look so good with body parts, so that might require having modeling done.

The reason I never got around that is that I've been working on this:

It is still unfinished, I think I'll darken the armour a bit so it won't stand out as much as it does now. Also going to give it a new attack, some other spell probably. My plan is to use it as a boss-monster in my main project.

I agree that darker armor would go very well with that guy, looking good!

@Kuningas
Uggardians are probably my least favourite monsters in LoG, I'm not into that sort of elementals, but your version looks really cool, more like a wraith or some spectral death knight. Have you though about life leeching ability for him? Would suit great IMO.

Yeah, I'm kind of having second thoughts on the type of the monster as well...

It was supposed to be some kind of invulnerable magical construct, but now it looks like a wraith of some kind. I might make it something like that in the end -- it doesn't look like a summoned automaton at the moment.

So, suggestion noted!

I would take a look at the cube and gears materials.

Maybe you could ask LordGareth for some help and make the arms and hands of the wraith look spectral.
Do you think you could give the black loin cloth some bleeched ornaments too?
(like the ones from the custom gobelins)

Hmm. I accidentally made a really cool sludge slime while adjusting the wall dirt texture cover the entire slime.

@Kuningas: Definitely agree that the resin makes for a good wraith. Looks hard core for a boss though :). If you wanted to go classic D&D you could drain XP or Statistics from the party until you kill it! :twisted:

@Neikun: Which are your 3 favourite slime textures so far!?

Drain xp! That is a good idea, if I can implement it. But annoying, of course. (and I already have a level based on escaping spiders in a maze -- I hate testing it ; D)
