Custom Music/Ambience/Sound Thread

This thread's purpose is to house the audio works of the community for use within our Grimrock mods.
Just post a link to the sound file you'd like to share and I'll put it on the front post.
What you can find here,
  • Ambient tracks
    Cinematic style tracks
    Sound effects
    Old game music
    More?
Preferred formats: .WAV for sound effects. .OGG for music.

this would be most welcome, as having some variety in this department often gets overlooked

I'll ask a friend of mine, he's a nerd musician :mrgreen:
If I'll ask him to write some music for a videogame I don't think he will exitate.

i'm on it.

I have 5 or 6 ambient scary tracks I used in my dungeons, how can I give it? :P

You could host them on soundcloud, I think.

Alright, here's my first attempt:

I recently spent a crapload of money on new audio soft- and hardware but couldn't find the time to actually use them ;(
Now that I saw this thread, it was a great excuse to force some time and whip up some dark ambient (I'm using Lustmord as a main inspiration since he's the father of dark ambient IMHO, hehe)

This track is VERY minimal, please let me know what you think, if this is to anyone's liking I can come up with more, of course.

I listened to it - AWESOME! :)

This is just the sort of thing we need, not too busy with lots of things going on, but just something there in the background, a "presence" to see the mood. More of these would be very welcome! 8-)
