Is there a way to "upgrade" our purchase from Almost Human and GoG ?

It's a free upgrade. All you need to do is read the blog and get the patch.

Or like me, if you just download the whole thing from GoG again, it is the updated version.

I did that as well. Downloaded the new full version from GOG, and then downloaded patch. All is good. I am wishing I would have bought through Steam at this point, only because I am worried most of the mods will be ending up there before they land on Nexus.
