There are no plans for this. It's not in the scope at the moment. Post-release maybe. But for now you'll just have to bear with it.

It's a typical topic, but English-only videogames are a very good way of learning and improving English

Game is a leisure not a work or boring acitvity.Jesugandalf wrote:It's a typical topic, but English-only videogames are a very good way of learning and improving English
When I play, I hate to search in a dictionnary each seconds to find the translation of english words.
If english is easy, It's doesn't matter but if english is difficult like in some games (adventures games or rpg games), it's a pain to play in english without french subs.

Re: french translation?
This is always the same with videogames. Translations are costly and indie games do not have uber-budgets so they are likely to be just in English. There surely are many people willing to translate the game into their mother languages but it's up to Almost Human to help those people or not. I'm sure they will if they think it's the best thing for the game, but it's probably still too soon to know that.nianu wrote:but but but.. what if i want to improve my french?!Jesugandalf wrote:It's a typical topic, but English-only videogames are a very good way of learning and improving English

They could pull a Mojang and allow the fans to translate.

find in a french forum
It seems that developpers have forbid translations of game made by fan.
It is very strange. I am very disappointed by developpers.

If you're talking about Grimrock, as long as you manage to do so without distributing any of the original data (i.e, make a patch instead of distributing changed game files), you should be ok.ravenloft wrote:find in a french forum
