I updated my mod since I found a small mistake that can confuse a player. If you want to try my mod, please redownload it if you have downloaded it before today :)

Well, may the best one win is how they say.

I'm excitedly waiting for the first votes to come in. As a contestant I'll of course take no vote.

@ HaunterV: Maybe you should update the first post / thread title with "Voting started" or something?

Well I haven't been able to beat Cubarama or Hypercube due to the game crashing with some error: "teleporterCode: cannot serialize table 'tele' with metatable".

Anyway, I am really terrified of that cube! This contest was a great idea. I'll vote for Montis - Hypercube for its clever puzzles, despite that I couldn't quite finish it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but wtf crashes?

I have to do some more testing I guess! Can you tell me which version you used and where exactly you crashed? I uploaded a small change today v1.0.2 but that shouldn't really affect any of the teleporters.

I tend to use destroy() a bit, maybe that's an issue here?

I was using v1.0.1, but I just tried v1.0.2 and it still happens. It seems to occur mostly when I try to save.

Here's how to reproduce a crash:
1) Start Hypercube.
2) Run to and step on one of the two pressure plates in the patience puzzle.
3) Wait for the first click.
4) Save.

This way I get a different error, but it's probably related to the tele one as well: "patiencePuzzle: cannot serialize table 'plate' with metatable"
I don't really know if this is a problem with your level or Grimrock itself, or maybe just with my copy. Give it a shot would ya?

that doesn't sound like a Grimrock problem - the serialize table issue has to do with how we set up tables in our scripts
