The Beta-1.2.12 changelog mentioned the fixing of some of the 1.1.4 bugs, hooray! :)

Can someone please give feedback (I have the gog version) if the stuff of the following lists was also "squashed" (I will remove the fixed stuff from the list):
From Psy's 1.1.4 Bugthread :
Fixed from Psy's Thread with 1.2.12
  • exp indicator don't take the level of the monster into into account
  • no exp if dead strike came by non-physical damage like from Dismantler elemental damage or poison over time
  • exp is awarded according to the position in the party, so if there is reordering potentially the wrong prisoner got the exp
not fixed in 1.3.1 despite mentioned in changelog 1.2.12
  • party of 4 unnamed prisoners bug
Fixed with 1.3.1
  • map descriptions&map text in resolutions fro res. < 1024x768!
  • text scaling fixed for res. < 1024x768 (beside bold head lines)

I've had my first crash of the main game since jumping aboard the beta... I played a custom dungeon (the EOB one) and now when I select "Load Game" from the menu I get an error message about a missing portrait (one specific to the EOB dungeon) and the game crashes... so I am no longer able to load any of my saves.

I've already emailed the error log to the feedback address, but just wanted to post here as well.

A couple of those in the list are probably by design. ;)

Thank you for the bug report! I think I know what's causing the problem.

I think not, the mentioned stuff was noticed and identified by several people as real problem! ;)
I think every programmer with proud in his heart should try to model things right! Especially stuff which DM decades ago did "right" , container-in-container was possible and correct. And, also what techniques and languagues they had available then for programming....assembler and spagetthi code? (Edit:almost, was plain C) No excuses here on really fixable stuff, please ;)

(The really debatable stuff was left in Psy's thread, like the graphicla glitches, which are by "engine-design" or the brightness level... *sigh*)

I had the same problem some time ago (I think it was 1.2.10, but I'm not sure). The workaround that worked for me was to:
1. start LoG
2. click custom dungeon, pick OB dungeon, start game.
3. Once the gungeon is started, you can safely go to load game screen.

Great. Thanks Petri.

Through trial and error I was able to find the offending savegame file and remove it.. so I am able to load saves again for now. I'll probably just not save the game if playing dungeons that use custom portraits for now.

This will be fixed in upcoming build 1.2.13.
