Grimrock Editor VIDEO TUTORIALS
Re: Grimrock Editor VIDEO TUTORIALS
Cool stuff. I dropped a link on our Twitter.
Could you add a link to our modding page to the video descriptions so if people first find the tutorials on Youtube, they know where to find more help.

Re: Grimrock Editor VIDEO TUTORIALS
Maybe we can gather ideas what still could need a video tutorial. Subjects that seem to pop up more often than not in the forums, for example:
- intro and ending cinematics
- setting the console key
- playing (custom) sounds
- properly using eye/mouth sockets and defining that they require non-standard items
- spawning and despawning (destroying) entities
- a quick overview on how to use and customize scripts found on the forums or elsewhere

Re: Grimrock Editor VIDEO TUTORIALS
my original idea was that I would do this series of videos as a starting point for people, and if they follow along and do everything in the videos, now they are "up to speed" enough to be able to follow the threads and written tutorials available.
But everyone loves video, so yeah, if people want to make more vids on these topics that would be welcome indeed

Re: Grimrock Editor VIDEO TUTORIALS
Komag, I love the tutorials.
Are you planning to do even more tutorials some day?
I myself would love even more in depths on scripting (I know exactly nothing and are having problems to add to the "global script" or something, cause I get nil values all the time)
Also, if you have the knowledge to do tutorials on how to add custom sounds, pictures, lightning sources etc to even further increase the customization, it would be great.
Thanks for great tips.

Re: Grimrock Editor VIDEO TUTORIALS
I may do some more videos at some point. I'm busy working on a project that should shed some light on a lot of scripting examples, maybe done in another week or two

I just want to add that your tutorials taught me a lot! Very informative and clear and would love to see more tutorials when you have time Komag.
