Absolutely.
I'm finding more and more that as I create the dungeon, I want to take it in a different direction. I may end up scrapping a lot of the current story and lore.

I've worked pretty hard on my dungeon and have only 3 full levels so far. I think it's pretty unreasonable to expect a really big, full-fledged dungeon experience this soon.

And I have been working on all the inside systems of my upcoming open "world" dungeon. I am getting close, I will start fleshing it now. I have however 2 fully working areas; Check The Lost Continent. Ow and btw yeah, this is still a beta ^^

The problem is that there's not many feedback about what's good/what's bad in a dungeon.
You can't please everyone but at least some comments would help fix/balance things.

Lol, feedback requires ppl behaving not like basic consumerist jerks, but also like nice caring helpful ppl, eager either to thank you for your work, or to share their opinions / give feedback. I have been a modder for a long time now, I have been working on quite a few mods, and community feedback, as far as I go, is usually a joke.

However, most mods have been released only a few days ago, and I guess some of them are already great. Imagine what it will be in a year of time ^^

The community here is really nice, especially the devs, and the many nice helpfull posters. But get used to hardly any feedback.

Example: my mod is released for some time, fully playable, full of already new game systems, monsters and such, released on steam and nexus, with some advertising here, and I have had only one serious feedbacker on nexus. Not even metionning any "thanks" or whatever. Again, get used to it.

Then, to be more constructive, ppl should maybe clean there tests projects from steam, and only leave playable WIP. And maybe a subforum for separate mods here would help too.

But oh well...

Also note that not everyone has access to the editor. I'll be gladly testing your Dungeon CromCrom. However I don't have Steam... so I'll wait until I can get it on gog. What is your dungeon name ? Ive noticed the reecking depth on grimrock nexus.

I made my dungeon primary for my personal pleasure. If someone else enjoys it, then that's fine, if not then that's okay as well. Nevertheless i put some effort into making it nice, having some hotspots in there and balancing it. Of course it was a learning experiment too.

One issue is that the workshop is kind of flooded by many entries and unless you don't have too much time, it's quite impossible noticing a good dungeon and the voting system isn't of help either. The problem kind of reminds me of some of the issues the iTunesStore is suffering from.

Thanks for your interest. check The Lost Continent on Nexus or Steam ^^. You can also search this forum , I have a thread about it. However, don't feel compeled to. But if you do try it, I hope you will enjoy, even though its a beginning WIP (but again, fully playable, and a brand new concept that might be a little surprising, I warn you ;-)

I'll be doing so as soon as I have access to the new version, I bought the game on GoG... so I am waiting for now :-)
