Grimrock Editor VIDEO TUTORIALS

Post by Komag »

I've recorded a series of eight video "Komag Tutorials" on getting started with the editor.

They start out by pretty much mirroring the getting started documentation by the devs, but then I branch out a bit from there.

1: Intro Layout Controls Functions Etc
2: Monster Alcove Scroll Door Pressure Plate
3: Spawner Hidden Plate Spectral Relay Blob
4: Button Counter Lever Timer Delay Signal
5: Level Wall Set Stairs Placement
6: Scripts Counters Activate Decrement Print
7: Teleporter Plate Trigger Target Coordinates Timer
8: Keys Locks Door Center Updates Advice

Nice. I watched them all and though I didn't learn anything new, I got an idea or two for a dungeon of my own :)

Very well done, one little note thought, you seem to have the mic on to high recording volume or the mic to close to your mouth, as one can hear you breath from time to time. Just a little tip on something to try to avoid :)

I was hoping somebody would do this, AWESOME!

One minor thing: you shouldn't put spaces around \n, otherwise your first line will have an extra space at the end and second line an extra space at the start. Extra spaces will cause text lines not aligning properly.

Thanks, I added a YouTube annotation about that.

I'm still editing the last two segments, so there will be seven in all.
