Would it be okay to post item and monster stats in a spreadsheet somewhere? Also, I was hoping to see the "cow on wheels" model from the editor trailer somewhere in the asset pack. Is there any chance we will be able to get our grubby modder hands on that at some point? 8-)

Oh yeah, you'll definitely get the cow-on-wheels. It wasn't part of the asset pack since it wasn't part of the original game content. :)

Mmm Cow on Wheels... I have no idea what sort of bizarre dungeon could possibly use this, I suspect I'll have fun finding out!

How about changing the licencing a little to allow us to use the graphical assets on homepages that are directly related to grimrock, like if I make a homepage for my upcoming mod, then it would be rely neat to be allowed to use the graphics from the assets.

More likely (and possibly better), they could just release a press kit, or a fan kit. Game companies used to do that for just that purpose; for fans to decorate a home page or a fan site with.

It would be neat to have a few assets set aside for that purpose that could be used with permission.

I have a question about the asset pack: I'm sure many users will modify commonly used assets for their dungeons; but is it impossible for them to publicly share those modified assets with other LoG modders? (as in an LoG modder's resource.)

The terms state that, "The redistributed assets must be contained in a package file (.dat file) generated by the Dungeon Editor.", but the editor doesn't open .Dat files (AFAIK).

**Not opening the .Dat files is a good thing that I wouldn't want changed... but what about implementing an editor only archive file that the editor [only :)] could open and access a shared user archive? (Of modified art, map fragments; whole maps and scripts. Incidentally I'd love to be able to save a region of a map as an importable fragment ~an archive file mechanism might make that possible. :))
** I Know that this might have to wait until Grimrock 2, and the 2nd editor. :D
