How can I make a wall disappear/appear?

I'm just messing around and trying to recreate the first level of EOB and at the beginning if you enter one of two doors it puts up and takes away certain walls. How could I do this? I'm thinking I could put a hidden pressure plate and make its effect permanent on the walls, but how do I connect a pressure plate with a wall? Does it require scripting?

There is no way to make a wall disappear but you can get the same effect by using a secret door entity.

Ah, this works. Thanks! I was looking for things like "fake wall" and stuff heh.

I recreate first level last night, using secret walls combined with hidden pressures for a 2 alternate routes as substitute for a "fake walls" and some lite scripting.

Is there a group of those redoing EOB? I think it would be best if we all combined our efforts. I played the first one through enough times to most of it in and out. It would be cool if we could even go as far as people making models of kobolds etc.

hehe our maps are pretty much identical :b Did you decide to put "AN UNRECOGNIZED RUNE" or "KOBOLD RUNE FOR 'ENTRANCE'" at the end of the first hall?

When the model exporter is available for custom creature assets, I will certainly be interested in crafting the zombies, slugs, Dwarves, and other creatures. An LoG:EOB total conversion sounds like awesome fun.

I'm going to try my hand at the portal once it becomes practical to import.

Maybe we all should start spreading the word about modding so that some hero somewhere on the net steps out and starts working on the exporter :D
