Extracting Files (Python?)

Post by oliacym »

Hi everyone, I've been reading around to see if I can extract the original files (textures, sounds and the like) from Grimrock.dat, and see there's a GUI extractor by Raptor, which I sadly couldn't get to work ("Unknown file tyoe" when I open Grimrock.dat), and a python script extractor. Unfortunately I'm kinda stumped as to how to use the python script. If anybody has any information that could help me, or can tell me where I'm going wrong with Raptor's extractor, I'd be very grateful! :) many thanks
