Again I'm at the entrance of level 6.

This time the rogue has Evasion 71 not only 38. I hope he survives longer now. I have 4 bombs ready to use them immediatly after the spiders attack. That should clear the way into the room fast. The only problems seems to be my mage. There is not much the player can do, so I need luck.

But at first I try to kill the ogre from outside. That could be time consuming .....

BTW is there a respawning area above level 6 ? Another level for the party would be fine.

Edit:
Please forget the question. I just remembered the beast hall on level 4.Those skeleton warriors respawn fast, IIRC.

i'm still thinking about, why you are fighting them all three at once.
except for the ogre, there are no monsters in the hall.
maybe you should just move away fast when you come to level 6.
just run straight to the left and turn around the corner, than you can fight the spiders one by one.

When I died I was attacked by three spiders simultaniously after I stepped into the hall. I had no chance to run anywhere. Hmmm. That's strange.

Maybe those spiders roams the hall freely and I had bad luck that those guys were close to the entrance?

Thank's for your hint, Homek. We'll see what happens when I enter the hall this afternoon.

Edit:

Or is it wrong to kill the ogre from outside? Maybe so the spiders have enough time to come close?

Hint: then perhaps "stepping" into the hall is not the way do to it?

aye, after you "stepped" into the hall ...

If I remember correctly, those spiders spawn around you the moment you step inside.

Also, I didn't see the ogre until I stepped in... But I managed to survive by killing the spider on the left, and then running like a hell, first straight (left from the fight) then right to where I luckily found a door behind which I could cover.

Good luck!

O.k. I'll think about it.

(The more I read here, the more I think I was blind as a mole when I tried it first. Hm.)

believe me, you have the time to get away.
when you enter the hall, the spiders spawn after a second or so (looks like droping from the ceiling.
when you are fast, you can be around the corner without even aggroing them.

@Homek
I believe you. But if I enter a location first time (as I did) I stop and look around to find out if there is danger somewhere. Without knowing about a hiding place I don't run blindly in one direction (and perhaps into death.

Sounds like you've given yourself a tough task with the lack of reloading, still it'll be all the sweeter once you succeed! :D

Personally I died the first time I entered that level, possibly several times eventually I ran to the left and found refuge. :)
