I loved it, but hated it for the controls which are no good for me being non-redefinable or mappable.

Keyboard controls? I have a funky programmable gaming Keyboard, wonder if it'd work for this.

Daniel.

Yes it would, but how would you look with the mouse at the same time as move? That's my difficulty. I'm considering a foot mouse, but of course they are (necessarily) expensive...

Well like I say I've never played Arx Fatalis, but the programmable keyboard I have has a separate keypad, so I use my left hand for it, and my right hand on the mouse.

Here's a piccy,

Aha...I've an IBM Model M keyboard from 1987 still going strong. Programmable K/B are great for most folks, but fairly useless for me. I miss my Suncom F15 analogue joystick. Ah...Gunship 2000...

That's practically an Antique! You should consider donating it to a museum! ;)

I tried arx fatalis for a while. In the second room or so managed to get jammed in a small hole in the floor with no way of getting out. Gave up. =)

Wow... that has never happened to me in this game. Where was the hole?

Arx is well worth playing; well worth starting over if need be.

Some kind of drainage trench near a door, as I recall.

Doesn't matter much. It seems I have far too many games, far too little time.. =)

I know what you mean, it was different when I was young, back then I had to much time and not enough games!
