Lovecraft?
Re: Lovecraft?
Love his stuff. Shame that although there are lots and lots of computer and video games influenced by his work, only very few go beyond - to put it into contemporary words - "Hurr durr, Cthulhu, derp!" ...

Oh, I adored that game. I played it on the Xbox the first time around and made an effort to only play at night after the missus had gone to bed. Ah, good times. Best HPL-inspired game so farReldn wrote:*grumbles* I just wish that Dark Corners of the Earth would quit crashing on me, so I could actually play through it.
Re: Lovecraft?
I read most of his works a couple of years ago... before going on the A. C. Doyle.^^
I liked his stories very much, even though it's funny what people found "shocking" back in the day.
My favourite stories are: Reanimator and Shadow over Innsmouth.

I`m so old I actually remember when reading H.P was a truly terrifying experience. Shadow Over Innsmouth/Whisperer In Darkness - got chills even typing this. Shadow Of The Comet - how to influence a videogame properly.
Nowadyas it`s of course plastered all over the gaff, memes and "ironic" indie games leading the way. Matter of time, there`ll be a film with Nic Cage & CGI Cthulhu.

Re: Lovecraft?
Definitely a fan of Lovecraft. Would love to see a Lovecraft (or Lovecraft-esque) story translate well into a video game. There have been a few that have done this well, but it's pretty rare (Alone in the Dark comes to mind as one of the best examples of this to date).

Lovecraft is in everything I record...

In my mind, this track is essentially a soundtrack for H.P.L.'s story "The Colour Out of Space." A later track on this album called "Silver Key" is an ode to the Dreamlands...

Me and Nyarlathotep hang out and play cards every few weeks.
But I'm never sure its him because he has so many faces.
