If you purchase the game on Steam, can you still get the standalone version/the extras advertised on this site?

If you buy direct from Steam, you get the Steam version. If you want stand alone you will need to buy from this site or GOG. You will get all the extras either way.

Also note that if you buy the Steam version, the extras get downloaded into the directory where the game is installed. You may have to hunt a bit for them.
