Death from above

I was having fun on level 9 or 10 yesterday, and i found a place where you could drop down in a SMALL area with an ogre, i tried that 5 times and died every time, since i had no space to run when the ogre charged me.
5th time I jumped down, I landed on the beastie, killing it I didn't notice if it gave XP, but it did drop a hammer.

So with a lot of luck, you can actually kill mobs by falling on them

Yes you can! You don't get XP sadly, but you do get an achievement if playing on Steam, and it is rather good fun!

Haha, teleporting into them also kills them instantly without XP...

... but it seems you can't kill a 'squad' of skeletons with spears this way

you can kill a whole squad of skeletons by falling upon them, just happened to me

You'd think falling onto sharpened spears would be kind of painful!

Im not sure if falling onto one of those beasts would actually "kill it" should this exist in real life
