MSVCP100.dll error

I just bought Legend of Grimrock and installed it, but when I try to launch the game it gives me the error MSVCP100.dll. Any solutions?

try uninstalling and reinstalling?

All I had to do is download c++ verifier and it fixed it.

Not sure what's a "C++ verifier", but, judging by the name of the dll, Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package should fix that as well.

Yes thats what I meant, I was thinking of what it said when I was downloading it said verifying C++.

It didn't help in my case. Win7x64, vcredist_x64 installed.
Any suggestions?

P. S. msvcp100.dll IS there, in C:\Windows\System32

Try the 32-bit version of vc redist. Grimrock is 32 bit app.

There seems to be a problem with the Steam installer. We'll fix it asap but in the meanwhile you can workaround the problem by manually installing
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)

Alright, the Steam installer is now fixed and new installations of the game should now work a-ok.

If you still get the MSVCP100.dll error, you should manually install the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable.
