I keep dieing,no matter how I play it;when,I enter that one(of two)rooms, where there are 4 undead skeletons... I'm trying not to cheat, although there isn't one yet---that puts you in "God mode"... I've tried staying against a wall---that doesn't work. I've tried waiting till the 1st one comes out;then, going in that pocket/recess;and then--- just trying to kill off---all four;but, the best I can do, is kill two before they take me out.
This part has really got me stumped....
I---REALLY could use some help---here.

Multiple undead skeletons.....
Re: Multiple undead skeletons.....
If I remember correctly, there's a floor switch.
Throw some object on the switch and run out of the room. The door will close.
Now you can take them down one by one!

Re: Multiple undead skeletons.....
Is that the "Enter thy Grave" room from level 2? It is possible to defeat them, but I believe some parties will have much more problems than others, depending on class and skillset.jaw69 wrote:I keep dieing,no matter how I play it;when,I enter that one(of two)rooms, where there are 4 undead skeletons... I hope I remember right but I think that room is completely optional, you don't need anything from it. Get all of dungeon level 2 finished and re-visit the room when your party has gotten another level or two.
Re: Multiple undead skeletons.....
If you ask about level 2, then ... really that is not hard.
I am enter directly, Easy to kill two skeletons, then have a little trouble with 3d and that is all.
Ok, If you dont so quick stay out.
Try to throw something to plate ...
Bulky items should help you

Re: Multiple undead skeletons.....
Drop something on the pressure plate that opens the trap door. Now you have an escape route. That room is horribly dangerous unless you have very high damage output - having to fight 4 skeletons without room to really maneuver is a nightmare at that point in the game.jaw69 wrote:I keep dieing,no matter how I play it;when,I enter that one(of two)rooms, where there are 4 undead skeletons... If it's about the 3 skeleton room on level 2, you can kill 2 skeletons from one of the passages to avoid getting flanked, then dash out when the second dies and have room to maneuver to kill the third. 2 skeletons in a stand up fight is rough but should be doable, and one skeleton in a 3x3 room is easily dealt with without taking any damage at all.
Re: Multiple undead skeletons.....
This is where it really helps to have mages as you can quickly burn down groups of enemies. If you unload 90% of their energy on the first and second skeletons it makes it a lot easier.
That being said you might not even have a mage much less two like I did.

Four skeletons, is this the room at the beginning of level 3, Pillars of Light? If not then please tell which level you're on.
If it is on level 3, it's posible to drop the skeletons down through the pit trap in the middle of the room. That should even the odds a little. However, there is a better way...

When you enter the room walk in between the pillars so you step on the pressureplate that opens the pit. Put somehting on it and jump down. Here you will have to fight a couple of giant snails, should be no match. Jump through the teleporter and you're back close to the beginning of the level. Walk to the room with the skeletons where the door is now closed. Now you can open the door and fight the skeletons one by one, and giving you time to rest between each if you need.
You know you're screwed when the light at the end of the hallway is an onrushing ogre wielding a torch.

or you can just throw something into the room to trigger the plate and then deal with the skeletons at your leisure via the front door...this is true of both rooms, IIRC

True! However, on level 3 you should trigger both plates so the pit trap stays open. Or else the skeletons will drop one or two of their own down the pit.
