Toorum has fire and earth skill, but I have no clue how to cast spells with Toorum. Am I missing something?

You need to find one of the magic enhancement weapons like the staffs or orbs.

you can find all treasures with toorum...
also that room with the 3 skeletons can be triggered strategically
yah if you use 2x2 strafing it is easy mode but if you do not
