Create a new folder on you C drive, called games or something, and put the game in that, you'll probably need to reinstall it there.

Daniel.
It didn't work. :( I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it in a new folder I named games1. Got the same error.
Thank you so much for helping, I really appreciate it. :)

Ah sorry to hear that. :(

Hopefully someone else will come along with an idea.

Your savegame works like a charm, thank you. ;)

ps : i get the "not overwriting" error and my LoG is on a different hard drive than C:, so it's probably not that.
(Although I did install Python on C:\ )

Hmmm ... Not overwriting existing file ... keeps telling me that.
Tried moving the game to c: (was on F:), set permissions, no luck ...

Darklord, is it possible to make your modified Console.lua downloadable? That would be awsome.

BTW, Hello to all. Just new on the board, can't get through the game ... I'm disabled, got only one hand ... though to play the game. Just want to be able to slowdown the closing doors or that my character moves slower, or something like that.

Hey Dulle,

Welcome! No sorry it's against the forum rules to share game files. That being said there are other options for slowing the game down, Note this is not recommended by the Team, but it is something you could try, and many people have been able to complete timed puzzles and such after doing this,

Cheat Engine (use at own risk!)

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1688&hilit=speed&start=40#p18696

Fan made timer patch,(adjusting speed may cause other issues so only do this is you feel you must)

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1688&hilit=speed&start=40#p18684

Hope those help. :)

I wish the devs would maybe make the console active so we don't have to fiddle with all of this. I cannot for the life of me get the thing to work. I am just too noobish at modding

Oh, sorry about that. That is a FEATURE of the code: If there is already a file named "Console.lua", the extractor refuses to overwrite it.

You can remove it, or edit the code.

If you get that message when there isn't already a file named that, then I have no clue what's up. :)
