Yeah, that way I can use a mix of custom portraits and originals for Minotaurs, Insects, etc, without too much of an art clash.

Plus I like how the original background works with the menus colors, so I'm only using orig. bg. portraits.

I'm seriously considering playing a party with three unarmed masters and a Fire Mage (I have to check if assassination works with unarmed to confirm if rogue Chun-Li will be able to contribute from back row).

_________
Some classic D&D characters from Tower of Doom. Actually Shadows over Mystara featured Moriah and Syous, which are my favorite rogue and mage characters ever introduced in CRPG. But sadly, I haven't found suitable portraits of those two, so original four will have to do.

_________
And last but not least. The party that I'm actually playing at the moment. Names and character concepts comes from Dungeon Master.
Portraits were created by amazing marcuz99 and a bit modified by myself (a bit darkened and desaturated).
Check this link for more of his portraits: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2120.

Honestly, I love this feature. Part of the fun, I think, is imagining these four chained to one another and having to work together.

Khan - Minotaur Chopper
Troll Berserker - Lizard man Swordsman
Terra - Archer
Predator - Insectoid Ice shooter

Here's my band of ruffians:

Nothing too fancy.

Damian the cold blooded street urchin.
Hardok, punisher of innocents and crusher of old ladies.
Seeker the town "pharmacist".
And last but not least, Thomas the drunkard, master of cowardice and backstabbing.

Some heroes, huh?
