I thought I nailed it but I get :

found Console.lua
Not overwriting existing file.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :?:

Hmm I didn't get that error, not sure what it means. Perhaps if you check over each step they may be something you missed? :?

If not hopefully someone in the know will reply. :)

Well, what I'd like to do is to start a new game with
SpoilerShow
Toorum
but with more skill points to spend right away.
So, your trick to spawn Tome of Wisdom seem particularly interesting. :D

Here you go here's a quick save with Toorum, right at the start on Hard, with 10 skill books,

http://www.4shared.com/file/N-LM9uW6/quicksave.html

copy it here,

C:\Users\Daniel\Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock

Hope it's ok! :)

I got the same message. I have spent 4 hours trying to figure out where I messed up.
Any help would be appreciated.

BTW. I love this game!

Also the error,

"Not overwriting existing file."

Sounds like it could be a permissions issue to me, Win 7 is a pain anything installed in the defualt C drive folders ends up getting protected even if you have full access. I installed my LoG on a different hard drive which gets round that sillyness.

Moving the game/reinstalling to a different none standard location, may solve this.

Thank you so much. I am using Win7. I will try installing it in a different location but I only have one hard drive.

It's just an educated guess mind you!

Create a new folder on you C drive, called games or something, and put the game in that, you'll probably need to reinstall it there.
