Armor Sets

Post by GeneralGonzo »

Ok,
so I know that there exists 3 armor sets in the game so far.
But I couldn´t find here anywhere via "search" anything explaining the bonuses one can get when wearing all pieces of an armor set.

Maybe someone can list the bonuses (in spoiler brackets) please.

I don't think there are any bonuses for wearing the whole set besides getting a steam achievement each. They just are by far the best armor items in their respective weight category.

As Legion said before, the "only" thing you get is the achievements for having the complete set, at least for the Valor Set which i have completed on my Minotaur Fighter, it gives exactly the protection of all the separated parts together, not a single point more, so i guess that with the rest of sets it's exactly the same.
SpoilerShow
Valor Armor Set
-helmet +15
-chest +15
-boots +15
-gloves +15
-Leggings +15
-Total Set: +75 protection (just the 5 pieces together)

Did the test on my minotaur, without the set, 20 protection, with the set 95, so the set gives me +75, no extra bonuses for having it completed (shame :S)

That´s a pitty.

Thought of some bonuses for wearing the malltogether since the Lurker Set isn´t that great if you just count the single pieces.

And achievements I don´t have with the gog version :D

The Lurker set is arguably the best set in the game. Evasion is extremely useful, and it's the only set that gives any. For a front line rogue or anybody using Unarmed, the Lurker set is amazing.

Indeed it is amazing, the Lurker Set is great paired with the Dodge skill to lvl 24 for Improved Stealth (doubles evasion bonus of equipped clothes) that if you have a front line rogue tanky character, just a beast!

unfortunately I have no rogue tank in my party, so the lurker set is not very useful since it gives only very few protection!

I would like to point out that there are (at least) 4 armor sets. There is also the chitin one. Arguably, there is also a set of fancy clothing and leather.

Chitin armor was already counted. Valor, Chitin and Lurker are the 3 sets, what's your 4th one?
