toorum (spoilers)
SpoilerShow
ok, so i beat the game a few hours ago, found toorum's remains, threw them at the crystal, said there was a sigh of relief in the distance. i ran back around on level 10 to see if there was anything else i missed after doing so, and didnt find anything. did i miss anything or was the sigh of relief just supposed to be his spirit being set free or whatever you want to call it?

Now you can start a new game, type in "Toorum" as the name of the default character, hit the "enter" key, and there you are. Your own single player game, as Toorum.

Re: toorum (spoilers)
So rather than opening a new thread let's hijack this one can I?
I started a playthrough with Toorum earlier today, after a bug on level 3 I had to relaunch well...
For traits I took armor high enough (26 or something like that) to be tanky and resist most ennemies but the damaging part is making me worry a lot more. as Toorum starts with 5 in axe mastery I tried to put more points in it and only one thing to say: "So slooooow" killing eenmies take like forever, especially crabs on level5, and so I was wondering:
- Does sword mastery does MORE damages.?
Looking only by stats I assume swords are more viable, faster and nearly the same damages (expect if you reach 50in axe mastery + Ancient Axe = 56 Force just with weapons but only 7 speed)
So may it be worth it to reroll, once again, and go the way of the sword?

Re: toorum (spoilers)
axes traditionally in games do more damage per hit, but have a slower swing speed. the rationale behind this is that axes are seen more as cleaving weapons and swords are slashing weapons. one does deeper, more serious wounds, the other quicker and more superficial wounds.
thats not to say that correlates to reality, its just how they are view in games, generally.

Yeah but Traits looks like they are making more damages on a well equiped swordmaster than a axe master aka a Dwarf\/4n!ll4 ][c3 wrote:axes traditionally in games do more damage per hit, but have a slower swing speed. the rationale behind this is that axes are seen more as cleaving weapons and swords are slashing weapons. one does deeper, more serious wounds, the other quicker and more superficial wounds.

Will need to test it out but you get a 24str+10accuracy sword on level 6 and a 24 str axe on lvl 9, seems kinda unfaire to go axe

Re: toorum (spoilers)
i can see what you are saying there, as i only remember like, maybe 3 axes i came across in-game, but i can distinctly remember 6 swords, maybe more if i wrote them down.
axe may have a higher base damage multiplier than swords though, which could help explain things.
