Just wanted to...

Post by Danipenn »

...thank you guys at Almost Human.

I am a old(ish) time player who grow up with the likes of Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder and I must say that you nailed it big time.

I don't know how you made it but somehow I am feeling the same sensations I felt while exploring the dungeon crawlers of yore.

This game came out of the blue for me and I am very happy about it. Looking forward to see how the modding community is going to shape around this jewel.

I am still in the middle of Grimrock and enjoying any minute of it.

Congratulations and keep up the excellent job guys.

By the way I live in Helsinki and I feel like coming to your office to congratulate you in person ;P

I add my thanks too.
I discovered the game on a french forum about oldies ( for ad&d pen and paper game, a bit the grand father of all that kind of games) and as I still be a fan of dungeon master I wanted to try.
I was pleased by the game in few minutes. The possibility to create is own team of prisoner seduced me and I like the "rules" and fonctionality (close to a "simple" old pen and paper game but enough new even I noticed many similarities with old dungeons master :D ).
Reading the manual I smiled seeing why the 4 people are together : they are bound by a chain ... hehe, why not but It would not be easy for them to run, fight and survive.

I wonder if my group is really guilty or are inocent folk doomed by a dictatorial king  :)
Can you tell more about the world and the background ?

Thanks again and good luck for the future !

Awesomeness! Yeah modding will be fun!

There is a world map to admire should you want to know a little more about the world. :D

Daniel.

I think it's up to you to decide why your people are here. You get to make your own adventure! Another one of the reasons I love the game so much, everything is really up to your imagination.
I fall down pits, therefore, I am.

Sure, and my imagination is productive I think, but we don't know much about the world and its story :)

Where lives the humans, what do they think about the other races, Have the minotaur a king ? Is grimrock the last chance for all the condemned or this 4 are specials ?

Sure it is possible to imagine anything but is there a "canon" story , a background ? :P

I don't know if there is some answers in the dungeon itself as I'm only at level 8.

I'm registering just to add my thanks too!

Also an old player who loved the Might & Magic days.

Saw it and bought it immediately.
You make 1, I buy 1.
You make 10, I'll buy 10. :D

So make more!
