Patch 1.1.4 and GoG

From what I understand, if I want to install the 1.1.4 patch, I have to reinstall the game by redownloading the game installer. Correct?

I would have to uninstall the game prior to doing this, right? And doing so, can I keep my Saves intact?

Yes, the saves should be intact, at least I had no problem. I backuped them, but later, looking into the saves folder I saw It was not necessary, nothing had been deleted.

When you uninstall the existing version, it will ask you if you want to keep your saves. Just say yes, and install the new version.

I had no problem installing the new version just over the old one.

It is confusing, yes, but it is just the GoG´s installer number for 1.1.4 version of the game. Download it and the game menu will show you 1.1.4 version number. No problem.

Hello, i buyd Legend of Grimrock by GoG too.

I have an ask, can you put a stand alone patch on the GoG?

Or if i had buy it by GoG, and i have STEAM too... can i put
the same game in the different platforms?
Because i can download patch automatically from STEAM...
is not a bad idea i think...

There technically is no "standalone patch". The game re-installs itself instead.

GoG version is up to date. It's just has an odd versioning number.
