They aren't allowed to give details, that being said,
After less than a week on digital shelves, the role-playing game has already recouped its development costs "many times over," developer Almost Human Games told Gamasutra, who added that the studio now "seems pretty secure."
Many times over has to be a good thing eh? :P

They've discussed this in a few previous threads, but basically they've signed non disclosure agreements with Steam etc.

eg,

Huh. Fascinating; I wonder why Steam, etc., object to people talking about sales numbers.

Not sure, I hear it's pretty standard in the industry though.

I bet you when Almost Human started up, they were thinking of maybe if we're lucky, we can scratch a living out of making games.
And I also bet they never dreamed it would explode into the gaming community in the way that it did. They came out of nowhere and blew the competition out of the water, and I think that was so cool.

it is awesome, and it's all going to get so much bigger once we have modding capability! :D

Incidentally there's been an announcement about that,

That does sound odd. Even though steam don't release the figures themselves I can't imagine why they would object to the devs doing it. But what do I know.
Maybe cause they don't want to get a discussion of royalties etc.

Pure speculation, but it could be standard operation practice:

I'm sure none of the game portals (be it Steam, GoG or Origin) would want numbers floating around allowing people to speculate how the portals did in comparison to each other.
