I don't think there's enough time in the universe to max out every skill :D
What if I am on a spaceship traveling the speed of light? Then would I be able to reach the level cap?

Only if you run backwards within said spaceship.

While were talking about skills, does each class have a different set of skills?

Daniel.

There's some overlap, but yes, there's class-specific skills.

Interesting, I wanted to make an agile Duel-Wielding fighter who would dodge rather than take the punishment, but I noticed in a video the other day that dodge was listed as a rogue skill, I may have to rethink my line-up somewhat.

I wonder if Rogues can duel-wield?

Probably not, and why would you want them to? To melee they have to be in the front row and front row is not safe for mr roguey.

Actually if you play your cards right, even a rogue can be pretty decent in the front row. In my current playthrough I have a rogue there and he's doing pretty well! It takes a tiny bit more planning and you have to be more careful with the hard hitting monsters than with a warrior but it's certainly doable.

edit: I might add that it's also a very fun and rewarding way to play too. :)

Well I'm envisioning a Duel Wielding character who's quite lightly armoured but good at dodging, he'll go in the front row next to my Minotaur Knight, I dunno which class is better for this yet, guess we'll know more in a couple of weeks. :)

Aha! Excellent news, this could be the way I go then! :D

Traditionally in EoB my second front row character would be either a Multiclass Fighter/Thief or a Fighter/Cleric, looks like with good skill choices I can build something similar. :)

Unfortunately dual wielding is a concept that doesn't work very well in Grimrock, at least in the traditional sense. You can of course wield two weapons at the same time but doing so doesn't net you any additional advantages such as attacking with both weapons at the same time. :|

It's probably more useful to have a shield, a ranged weapon, a torch or something more "exotic" in your other hand. ;)
