Found it. It was the second time I had to set my graphics details to minimum because of timed puzzle, d'oh!

Nice that you got this solved and the thing in your hands, and as a general advice, in addition to lowering graphic settings, you can try those nice Speed Potions! (they helped me in this timed puzzles)

Nice to know it - I thought speed potions only shorten the weapon cooldown time...
