Pit allignment
Pit allignment
Is it true when you jump into a pit you do not fall every time into the same position 1 level lower? when i hold 2 copy's of my drawn maps together there seems to be a misallignment, also for stairs, or are stairs 2 blocks wide.
Re: Pit allignment
Everything should line up exactly.
Re: Pit allignment
I've noticed some pits are greater than one level fall.
I can imaging the programming would allow for pits to fall onto what ever map position is set for the pit data block.

Re: Pit allignment
??? I haven't encountered any Pitt that's more then a single floor.
Re: Pit allignment
There's one on level 6, in the Halls of Fire, which drops all the way down to level 8.MASKOAA wrote:??? I haven't encountered any Pitt that's more then a single floor.
Re: Pit allignment
What about sneaky game designers who put teleporters in pits so you could fall out anywhere didnt think of that did you
Re: Pit allignment
Are you talking about how you fall down then walk around then theres another hole next to a portal?YenRug wrote:There's one on level 6, in the Halls of Fire, which drops all the way down to level 8.MASKOAA wrote:??? I haven't encountered any Pitt that's more then a single floor.
Re: Pit allignment
No its a straight shot drop to level 8 for double fall damage (50+). It could be the same 7 to 8 pit you're mentioning, but I recall you go through them in succession without moving.MASKOAA wrote:Are you talking about how you fall down then walk around then theres another hole next to a portal?YenRug wrote:There's one on level 6, in the Halls of Fire, which drops all the way down to level 8.MASKOAA wrote:???
