Only puzzle I had trouble with was the last one on Goromorg Temple 1. I found the clues were so odd that they threw me off, and didn't know what they were asking for.

Slime dungeon is one of the worst ever created, they're simply too strong for when you get there. Two hits and you're dead. I spent a lot fo time there.

The last fight, but just because of monsters always spawning right behind me, preventing me from backing up, then side strafing into a pit. I died like 4x and had to run back up from lvl 13 countless times. At least you can rest on 13 and the boss doesn't heal...
yep.

that was the worst half hour of my life, and i'm uninstalling the game -- and telling everyone i know to not buy it, either. not until i hear it's been patched to hell and back. not to mention how incredibly laggy that entire room was. you can't do the entire fight looking at walls to prevent slow-down...

there's just no excuse for that kind of thing, really. they just didn't even test it, or if they did (unlikely!) they just ignored all feedback from their testers.
I thought the boss fight was pretty weak myself, but wow, really? Did the boss make insults about your mother while killing you or something?

Wow. For real? I found the last fight quite enjoyable - hard, creative and not exactly forgiving. My pc ain't that new either, and I didn't had any slowdows.

On the topic, however, the Hardest part... Hm. First encounter with the Bluey Robes. Seriously, I actually thought they were invincible, and one shoting some of my party members (Playing on Hard) wasn't exactly helping.

Level 14

No really there was this weird bug I hit were I feel through the floor on level 13 after falling in a pit. Was unable to recreate it but at the time I had not saved for he last 2 hours and had to redo a lot.
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
My end game stats LoG 1st play through

when games give you lemons, don't buy them.

would have been enjoyable if i had spent any of the time actually fighting rather than straining my eyes to see in the pitch dark, falling down invisible pits while scrambling to get out of the way and trying to get around monsters everywhere. i didn't have a bit of lag all throughout the game until i got to

the Prison
when suddenly moving takes .5-.8 seconds to accomplish
SpoilerShow
(a serious problem when you have a cube of rolling death chasing you)
. there's just something about the art on those last floors that is extremely expensive to render because turning everything off didn't improve response times by much.
SpoilerShow
the light cast by the Orb of Radiance just doesn't illuminate as much as you need it to because you literally cannot see those pits until you're already falling down them because of the goddamn movement key buffer.
nothing, not even the general uselessness of mages as a class, is as infuriating as the key buffer. as i said, i didn't find the end fight to be difficult because the frustration was entirely due to things absolutely out of my control. it's not that i could have played better, it was just frustrating to have to wrestle with the game's mechanics to accomplish the simple task of moving.

@NakedG

U must have been overheating that poor pc of yours cause there was nothing causing 3d rendering times to suddenly explode when I played these levels.
