When you place the preorder and pay with a credit card, your credit card will be charged. When you pay your credit card bill, the money will be deducted from your bank account. Does this answer your question?
He's wondering if he gets charged now, or when the game actually comes out. ^^

My plan was to buy straight from the developers, and I nearly did, before I noticed that Steam was involved. So I opted for GOG. Sorry.

Did you already buy it?

Because they have a DRM-free version directly from the developers now.

You get a Steam AND a stand alone copy if you order direct from Almost Human, that's what this thread was created to tell you! ;)

Don't worry though either way Almost Human get paid as Petri says here! :)

No worries, we'll get paid that way too :)

Yeah, I bought it yesterday when buying directly from AH only gave you a steam key. Not to worry.

Is this the link mentioned where the download will be available on April 11th? I only received a mail from Humble Store after pre-ordering that contains this link (steam key and bonus pack there currently):

https://www.humblebundle.com/s?key=.......................

Thanks for the bonus pack!

Yes... You (The Developers)"charge" the account....long--- before the actual product----Is even actually "released".
Yeah...you answered...the question.

That's kind of how preorders work... it's also why they are giving a discount for preorders (to reward early adopters). April 11th isn't exactly all that far in the future, but feel free to wait until then so you can be charged the full price.

That's not how it works in most places :P. Like Amazon, if you pre-order, you don't pay until the product ships.
