Move one tile at a time and keep an eye on what direction you're facing
Re: Goromorg Temple 1 hallway
This works well. Me I just kept dropping a torch on the floor then step then pick up and set down again. Afterwards I left them on the floor to remind me where the tricks were.Drax wrote:Move one tile at a time and keep an eye on what direction you're facing
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I disagree, the 2 on level 9 are enough. Excessive(and I MEAN EXCESSIVE) Spinners/Floor Teleporters/Illusion Walls are what kept Eye of The Beholder from being amazing for me.

The fact that the walls aren't identical meant that I knew immediately that I'd stepped on a spinner. It's just another example of how well this game rewards attention to detail!
I'm also glad that Grimrock doesn't have illusory walls. Having to run your party into every wall in order to find all the secrets isn't my idea of fun.
