Goromorg Temple 1 hallway

Im in Goromorg Temple andpassed the cheackerd room so im in thiss hallway is makeing me go back to the start of it :?

Move one tile at a time and keep an eye on what direction you're facing ;-)

This works well. Me I just kept dropping a torch on the floor then step then pick up and set down again. Afterwards I left them on the floor to remind me where the tricks were.
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Not enough spinners in the game imho, DM had loads more :D

I disagree, the 2 on level 9 are enough. Excessive(and I MEAN EXCESSIVE) Spinners/Floor Teleporters/Illusion Walls are what kept Eye of The Beholder from being amazing for me.

The fact that the walls aren't identical meant that I knew immediately that I'd stepped on a spinner. It's just another example of how well this game rewards attention to detail!

I'm also glad that Grimrock doesn't have illusory walls. Having to run your party into every wall in order to find all the secrets isn't my idea of fun.
