Anyone else noticed that a "toorum_lives.txt" file gets added to your save folder, with the contents of "Toorum was here." (I obviously assume it gets added after you mash his remains into oblivion
)
easter egg? or maybe plans for a DLC dungeon where his life depends on something?

Ohhh wow yeah ... seems to me like in a future dlc, we might meet him ?? but of course only if you've saved his life.

We now know what the text file is for ... it is infact a flag to unlock ...
BIG SPOILERS AHEAD !!!
Start a new game, create your own toons, type "Toorum" into the name box, and hit enter
Any changes you made prior to hitting enter are disregarded, and you are presented with a "Stock" Toorum character, with these stats,
This ofcourse means you cant solo play an Air Mage, Or Maces Minotaur, only the stock Toorum.
To unlock the Toorum solo play...

I used Toorums remains on a res crystal to get the achievment for buddies with Toorum, it pops up something about hearing a sigh of relief in the background. The hint is on a sheet I found where his remains are about 'if only he could get R...' I guess R meant ressurection

Very nice Sevtai! - I knew it had to do something, but that I wasn't expecting, about to try it out now!
Toorum starts as a Level 1 Ranger with the following stats, skills and traits:
Str:18
Dex: 15
Vit: 16
Wis: 12
Armor: 8
Axes: 5
Swords: 0
Earth Magic: 5
Fire Magic: 0
Spellcraft: 0
Tough
Skilled
Thunderstruck - "You are fast, very fast" - this makes movement speed much faster, it also increases attack speed
Unfortunately, he cant cast spells with his bare hands - he needs a wand to cast (which requires 1 in spellcraft for the first wand you find)
Also Toorum is only human, and still only gets 4 skill points per level.
I finished the first floor and my energy bar was empty for most of it
